I clicked on an image once just to have a larger view of it (not to visit the website) when malwarebytes showed a small pop-up in the bottom right that said 'website blocked due to trojan'. If you use Firefox and the add-on NoScript you can have much greater protection from malicious scripts and scripts intended to track. NoScript takes a bit of time to learn to use it properly. To be more specific would require knowing exactly the image you clicked on. I would suggest you accept the blocking as needed.
