I have very successfully used MS Streets and Trips to plan road trips through the USA and Canada; now it's discontinued! I want something that will enable me to do detailed maps on my desktop PC in Australia, and take them with me on a laptop or tablet. I was going to just buy another copy of Streets N Trips 2013 on eBay (Amazon won't sell it to Australia, I gather they don't want Australian tourists?) but it now sells for anywhere from $US300 to nearly $US700 on eBay. I'd be very grateful for any suggestions folks, this will be a three month trip and I want to get it right. Madgicsh, I have used both MS Streets N Trips and DeLorme Street Atlas USA in the past. Here is the 2015 version of Street Atlas USA: Street Atlas USA works if you have a laptop but no internet connection.
Just purchased office 2016 for mac but didn't get one note or one drive. By Anonymous reply 7.
However, I typically make maps using either MapQuest or GoogleMaps. I zoom to the area I want, press Alt PrintScreen, then past in Paintshop to cut to size and then save as an image file. (I will usually have several zoomed in image files and a couple zoomed out image files.) I can then either print the image files if I want hard copies, or save them on my laptop or smartphone for referencing later. Either way, I have maps I made with free software that I can reference without needing internet service.
FWIW, I like to keep actual road atlas's with me for the states I am visiting or driving through. You need to use My Maps in Google, not just the default site you get to at You will also need a Google account to save everything.
Just go to the main Google maps page and click on the menu button (three horizontal bars on the left of the search box). One of the options will be my maps.
I used the free trial with no problems for the 14 day period. I purchased the software w/ GPS at Staples it worked fine the first day. I have lost my product key for microsoft streets and trips 2013. My Email is [redacted due to privacy concerns]. I presently own the CD for 2011 and key for 2013 download. Maptitude is the best Microsoft Streets and Trips™ alternative. The trip planning tools in Maptitude identify optimal routes for travel and deliveries, calculate the distances between destinations, and produce driving directions. Streets & Trips has been discontinued and Maptitude is the best replacement.
You can set up multiple layers with color coded flags, driving directions, etc. You can also share it so others can see and/or edit it. Uploading from Excel and other file formats is also possible.
The best mac & cheese combines all three types. The holy trinity, in my opinion, combines a lot of Cheddar, a little cream cheese, and a Parmigiano-panko crust. But you didn’t come here for a. Smoked gouda is good on noodles, it pairs well with apples, and makes your cheese board extra bougie. The 'cold smoked' process gives it a subtle smokey flavor that doesn't compromise the fudge-y texture. Smoked gouda makes mac and cheese an adult meal. Fontina Julia Gilman. The semi soft, creamy texture makes for a decadent mac and cheese. Best cheese for homemade mac & cheese.
The interface is a bit clunky, but is not bad once you get used to it. For example, this is a map of all IHG hotels that are available in for the Pointbreaker promotion, worldwide, color coded by brand. Note this is no my map, just a good example I have used from a flyertalk link. • What about Power Converters and Adapters? • 'Staying in touch' while travelling?

Unfortunately, no. I too want a OS X native version of this but have to settle for using a PC virtualization program (I use Parallels, others swear by VMWare Fusion). It is the main app for which I still need / use Windows on my Mac mini. CrossOver is another common PC virtualization app but Streets & Trips will not work with it. There is a OS X native app in the same class called RouteBuddy but the demo is 'crippleware' so one can't really judge its accuracy or usefulness. It costs as much as a Windows license and a PC virtualization app together, so there's not a lot of incentive to go that route unless you wish to keep Windows off your Mac.
A good forum along these lines is laptopgpsworld.com. Lopezian wrote: Thanks for the tips, Dave. I may just bag the attempt to get Streets and Trips running on my Mac--and keep the old Windows laptop to run it there instead.
BTW, *does 'Parallels' work without partitioning your hard drive, or is it a substitute for Boot Camp?* (I'm new to this biz, all right.) Best. Use of a virtual machine, Parallels, Fusion, etc. Does not require partitioning of the hard drive. But you must allocate some space on your hard drive to store the virtual machine and associated data files.
