Refer to the documentation of your photo-management software for more information.” To get pictures back in order (chronologically, or any order you choose), you need to organize them on your computer and then sync them back to your phone.

There are lots of suggestions online on how to get this done. I’ve done my best to test the following instructions, but I can’t guarantee they’ll work for everyone. This procedure assumes you’ve copied all the photos from the iPhone to your computer. If you haven’t moved the photos to your computer, do so first. After that, you’ll need to use a program such as iPhoto or Adobe Photoshop Elements to arrange the photos in the order that you’d like them to be copied. This might mean you have to move the photos out of the folder and then move them back in order.
